Why Do We advocate?

As a mom to a son with a rare genetic difference, I have unexpectedly been introduced to a new world of humans that are constantly battling daily challenges caused by their disabilities.  My son has spent his life working harder than his peers to do basic things like running, playing, and communicating.  It is his journey that has inspired me to initiate the Changing Spaces Connecticut Chapter, aimed at ensuring widespread availability of universal changing tables throughout our state. ~Emily Beauclair
